Women Economic Advancement
Our programs focus on providing women with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to improve their economic status and financial independence.
When women have a source of income, they are on the path to becoming a healthy, empowered economic actor.
Women who are able to decide where, when, and how to spend their income see improvements in their social and economic status and the level of resources devoted to their children.
Decision-making is a core expression of agency and refers to the capacity of women and girls to take purposeful action and pursue goals free from the threat of violence or retribution
GTM captures cases of
Gender-based violence (GBV)
survivors through
its comprehensive MIS
within the Gender Facilitation Centers (GFCs).
GTM focused mapping GBV cases and
linking them to
livelihood opportunities.
The identification process
primarily involves GCRPs
in the GPs identifying cases, followed by
DCCs ensure a screening/mapping of survivors physically or over the phone.
Through the identification process,
GTM mapped survivors based on their SHG membership status,
loan repayment capacity, existing skills, training received, and interest in business ventures.
GTM supported interested survivors
in the loan application process, with assistance from the MBK
Upon successfully application
processing, survivors were connected with a suitable livelihood
opportunity, always in consultation with the MBK reganding business choices. Currently, over 300
women have been linked with new livelihoods.

Vegetable farming, Fish farming, Rice, Dairy, Goat farming, Poultry, Snacks Shop, Petty Shop, Grocery Shops, Tailoring, Sabai Craft making
Through partnerships with financial institutions, PCI India has connected thousands of women to savings accounts and credit services, enabling them to access loans for small businesses and build financial independence.
