Definition


The Social Action Committee (SAC) is a community-based group formed under the OLM to address gender inequality and promote women’s empowerment. SAC members work to identify and resolve gender-related issues, raise awareness about women’s rights, and combat violence against women at the grassroots level. They collaborate with village organizations and local authorities to plan and implement programs aimed at reducing gender disparities and improving social, economic, and political participation for women.
